Scribe is a software tool developed by the United State Environmental Protection Agency's Environmental Response Team (ERT) to assist in the process of managing environmental data. More information about Scribe can be accessed from the Scribe website.
The Scribe button is available in the Plus licensing section of the Data ribbon in EQuIS Professional.
Scribe is included with the EQuIS Professional Data Plus and Data Premier license packages and requires installing the EQuIS Scribe - LabResults report to run. The report file (EarthSoft.Reports.Library.d38451.dll) is available from the EarthSoft Community Center (ECC) Downloads Dashboard. To use the Scribe button, setup is as follows:
1.Unblock the Scribe - LabResults report zip package.
2.Move the EarthSoft.Reports.Library.d38451.dll file to the EQuIS Professional installation folder:
For default installations, this directory is C:\Program Files\EarthSoft\EQuIS or (for per-user installation) %localappdata%\Programs\EarthSoft\EQuIS\.
3.Restart EQuIS Professional if it is currently open.
If the Scribe - LabResults report file (EarthSoft.Reports.Library.d38451.dll) is not in the Professional installation but has been published to the database, it may be opened via the Reports interface.
